After many years in the natural products & healthy lifestyle industry, Susan has a deep understanding of the trends, issues and opportunities within this quickly evolving space. As the Director of Corporate Marketing and Business Development for Azura Living, a short-term rehabilitation facility, she developed and implemented an aggressive business growth plan designed to build relationships, increase brand awareness and improve sales. Prior to that role, Susan was the National Sales Director for Holistic Primary Care, a quarterly medical journal that reaches over 65,000 physicians nationwide. In her time with HPC, Susan worked closely with health and wellness companies to build bridges to the physician market.
Susan’s diverse background includes positions as Director of Marketing & Business Development for Vitamin Angels (a non-profit dedicated to reducing child mortality), Program Manager for New Hope Natural Media, and Executive Director of an invitational executive-level conference called SNAP! (Science + Nature + Art + People).
She began her career as a Media Buyer at a large East Coast agency, and has also served as Client Services Director at an award-winning agency in Jackson Hole, WY, and later as the owner of a successful boutique PR agency.
Susan brings a wealth of insight and energy to help companies grow by developing unique ways to increase brand awareness, build community, and communicate with customers and key market influencers.
A resident of Boulder, CO, she has ample opportunities to fuel her passion for outdoor sports and healthy living. An avid road cyclist, runner and skier, Susan also appreciates yoga, time with her two dogs, and visiting the local farmer’s market.
